I enjoyed the lovely clean room, but the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The location was excellent for exploring nearby Portsmouth.

refreshing, refreshing, refreshing
I had the chance to stay for 1 night in a charming double room that was incredibly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a delightful highlight, offering a great variety that set the perfect tone for the day. I also appreciated the off-road parking which was a crucial convenience during my stay.
totally recommend 😊❤️

The room had a decent amount of space for a solo traveler, and the Victorian style fireplace added a bit of character despite the mixed decorations. It was quiet enough for a good night's sleep, once I got the pillow situation sorted out.
The accommodation had its quirks. The furniture felt mismatched and cheap, with black fronts that clashed with the fireplace's blue tiles. On top of that, breakfast wasn't available during my stay despite prior arrangements, and the room service left some items unattended, like cleaning mugs but not changing the bins or making the bed.

I stayed for 2 nights in a charming Double Room, which had a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch, and the off-road parking behind the pub made it convenient to explore the local area. The staff were accommodating, making me feel at home, and the lively atmosphere in the pub added to the experience.
Noise from bar.

Chur, we stayed for a couple of nights and loved the comfy rooms, but the room was a bit on the small side. The staff were super friendly too!

i was looking forward to my stay but alas, like so many reviews mention, breakfast was apparently non-existent, how charming! and to top it off, my room overlooked the pub, where i was treated to a wonderful concert of music till late—so relaxing! expected a complimentary drink for my troubles, but that was clearly too much to ask.

Charming stay with lovely staff
Spent a night in a cozy village spot. Nice to park at the back and the street's free at night. Staff were super friendly and even welcomed our dog in the bar. Ate at the pub—food was decent! Just wish the room was a tad bigger. a mellow vibe, perfect for a quick getaway.
